Commercial pickup in Harris, Fort Bend, and Montgomery County

OnFarmCompost

Planning estimate: no contact gate

Estimate the stream you can actually observe.

Enter known weekly container and weight information. The estimator checks the incoming condition, calculates volume-equivalent 55-gallon drums, and gives a planning range only when weight is known.

Qualification comes first: Organic material must arrive source-separated or depackaged. Streams that arrive mixed with packaging or general trash are not accepted.

Measured, not modeled

Book the free one-week audit.

OnFarmCompost places drums, collects them one week later, records the measured weight, and returns a route and service review. You keep the result even when ongoing service is not a fit.

Include the business name, ZIP code, stream type, incoming condition, and any measured weekly weight or container count.

Estimator FAQ

What the planning result can and cannot tell you.

Does this estimator predict food waste from customer or meal counts?

No. Menu-based and covers-based factors were removed because they were not a reliable substitute for a measured stream. This estimator uses values your operation can observe: weekly container count, container size, and measured or known weight.

What if we do not know the weight?

Enter the number and size of containers you fill. The tool will show a volume-equivalent count and tell you that weight measurement is still required. The free one-week audit supplies the missing measured weight.

How accurate is the drum range?

When a known weekly weight is supplied, the planning range uses the observed 100 to 200 lb filled-drum range. It is not a capacity guarantee. Material density, fill pattern, liners, and moisture change the result, which is why the measured audit is the final sizing step.

What stream condition qualifies?

Organic material must arrive source-separated or depackaged. Streams that arrive mixed with packaging or general trash are not accepted.

Does the estimator calculate cost savings or environmental impact?

No. It does not claim avoided hauling cost, methane, carbon dioxide equivalent, diversion percentage, or another outcome without the required invoices, measured data, model version, and assumptions.
